there's this sandwich

that I made two days ago, took to work and left in the car. (it was a cold, miserable day) Then I took it home, forgot about it and left it on the back seat of the car. Then I noticed it again today and took it inside. Now it's sitting on the floor of my room. I think I should eat it.

Another very close 5-4 result with 3 of 9 rubbers going to best of 3. I opened well with Gerry, winning 16-21 21-15 21-10, then another strong mixed rubber with the easy-to-play-with Claire produced a straight games win 21-15 21-16, but, with club captain Martin watching on from the bleachers, my final partner Scott stumbled at the last, and we lost this tightly contested rubber 19-21 22-20 18-21. Luckily, when I don't win all 3, King Steve is usually on hand to win all 3, which is exactly what he did. We edged the match and took the points.
