jubella

That I could change my ridiculous MySpace name to something more professional. Any ideas on how to do it? (No, 'edit profile' won't work because this here's a band page, not a personal page.)

collection of thoughts

you say you care so much.
then nod along with the rest of them.
a paperhead with mawkish pretend emotion.
you'll never understand
electron orbits or semiotics
because you are content with your fucking ipod, reality tv and entrenching yourself.
this puzzles me because all the time
YOU PREACH ABOUT EXTENDING HORIZONS.
could we please erase all hypocrisy in the world.
you know what i'm talking about?
the freaks who still advocate feminism
let's have a look at what feminism has achieved
"all men should be castrated/shot/fed to lions."
"all men should do equal housework and cooking."
oh nooooo: why are there no red-blooded men now?
the animal rights terrorists (silent witness was great)
let's blow up laboratories so they can't do research
and liberate cute fluffy things
and stop all senses of research indefinitely
wouldn't that be a towering achievement?
then we would have no new cures for diseases
but when you die of cancer, pulmonary fibrosis or motor neurone disease, IT'S A TRAGEDY.
it is irritating because nobody stops to think logically.
wouldn't it be so much easier to become a sheep?
baa baa baa, i agree. baa baa.
or maybe we could just jump into a discussion about the Lebanon and Israel conflict
offering our watered-down popularized thoughts as if they were somehow important
when this has been going on for 70 odd years
do you really think you have all the facts sorted?
baa baa baa. there it is again.
sleepwalking into incoherent diplomatic lines and political correctness
because you cannot think for yourself. go on, talk in cliches.
"the oxygen of publicity" (you say it like publicity is a good thing)
"i am different to most others" (as if)
"my friends mean more to me than anything" (little more original next time)
ahhh diddums.
hang on, i'm getting something:
the unshakable impression we are a lost generation

vide cor meum

E pensando di lei
Mi sopragiunse uno soave sonno

Ego dominus tuus
Vide cor tuum
E d'esto core ardendo
Cor tuum
(Chorus: Lei paventosa)
Umilmente pascea.
Appreso gir lo ne vedea piangendo.

La letizia si convertia
In amarissimo pianto

Io sono in pace
Cor meum
Io sono in pace
Vide cor meum

something for nothing

On the last day of last month the poker server crashed, and experienced ongoing problems. I managed to sit down at a table having 'bought' £69.92 worth of chips, but the site then crashed again. The software thought that I was playing at the table when I wasn't, and in fact I could only watch on as 10 other players filled the table up. When I told Will Hill about it, they did a manual refund for £68. I rang up and inquired about the rest because I'm really tight, and some guy on the other end told me that somebody would check it out and refund the other £1.92. They must've had some breakdown in communication at their end though, because their technical department managed to refund me another £69.92 worth of chips! Who says you can't get something for nothing.
