new heights

Christ it's a steep walk up to Ben's new place. He now lives in a second floor apartment a stone's throw from the main campus. Inside it's really spacious and pleasant. There are a few minor details like being unable to fully turn off the hot tap in the bathroom, half of one wall in the bathroom missing, etc. but overall it's sweet, and actually cheaper than his place in Headingley. I am sure this will be a great benefit for putting appearances in at the Dock, Fab and Cockpit. (You remember the days when we lugged traffic cones back from Cockpit to Headingley, Bob? Mission.) Would have also set a new record time for London-Leeds but there was an accident just past Sheffield. If I had driven at my normal pace through the area of the accident, I would have done the journey in 2.5 hours. Tonight we will be going to the Wendy House at the student union for rock and metal delights.
